PicTours, Ireland’s first walking tour company focused on Instagram-worthy photos, is expanding and looking for an enthusiastic guide to join our team in Dublin.
What is PicTours?
PicTours is all about helping tourists and locals alike discover the most photogenic spots in the city while teaching them how to capture stunning photos for their Instagram profiles. We’ve grown from Dublin to five cities across the UK and Ireland, and now we need an additional guide in Dublin to cover our growing demand.
What We Offer
By joining PicTours, you get the chance to:
- Explore Dublin’s Best Instagram Spots: Take small groups (maximum 15 people) on a 1.5-hour walking tour to iconic and lesser-known locations perfect for Instagram photos.
- Share Your Photography Expertise: Help tourists take amazing photos by giving tips on angles, lighting, editing, and filters. You’ll also share Instagram skills, like crafting captions and using hashtags effectively.
- Build Your Social Media Presence: As a guide, you’ll gain exposure by being featured on our Instagram page @pictours_, interact with tourists, and grow your own Instagram following.
- Flexible Schedule: This freelance role offers flexible hours, perfect for those looking to supplement other work commitments.
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for someone who:
- Loves Photography: You’re passionate about capturing beautiful moments and have experience editing and optimizing photos for Instagram. A portfolio of your work is essential.
- Is Active on Social Media: You should be active on Instagram and have a good understanding of the platform’s trends and algorithms.
- Enjoys Connecting with People: As a guide, you’ll be interacting with diverse groups, making them feel welcome, and sharing stories about Dublin’s rich history and culture.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Previous tour guide experience is a bonus, but not required.
- Professional photography experience or training is advantageous.
- A strong social media following (over 3k followers) is a plus.
- Fluency in Irish or Spanish is a bonus but not essential.
