PicTours is delighted to announce that our Student Phone Photography Competitions 2026 will officially launch in early January 2026!
For the first time ever, we are running three separate competitions — one in Ireland, one in the Midlands, and one in Scotland. Each region will have its own winners, prizes, and recognition, giving more students the opportunity to shine.
The competitions will run until June 2026, with entries open exclusively to students in each respective region.
Building on Our Previous Competition Success
In our last student phone photography competition, we were blown away by the creativity and talent on display. Students used their phones to capture everything from dynamic street life to atmospheric landscapes, proving that you don’t need professional gear to take professional-quality photos.
The winning shots showcased bold storytelling, fresh perspectives, and technical skill — and gave young photographers a well-deserved platform.
This success inspired us to expand and separate the competition into three regional editions for 2026, so even more students can participate and be celebrated in their own communities.
How the 2026 Competitions Will Work
